Although, a loan modification can be done by the borrower, it can be easily denied by a lender if the structure is not within certain parameters...which the banks are not going to disclose to the homeowner beforehand.  There are a lot of nuances as well, such as how to deal with various investors, negotiating for rate reduction or principal reduction or both.  Thanks for sharing!</description>

I have seen cases where property values has drop to half of what it was mid of last year. Will keep my fingers crossed for all this recovery stuff</description>
